Additional examples of typical tasks
Typical day in this role
You start the morning by checking vehicle positions against the previous day’s plan and instructions. Next, you work on trip schedules and plan loadings or unloadings. You verify the availability of drivers and vehicles, review GPS data, and check reports of any breakdowns or delays from overnight runs. You then coordinate the morning departures—assigning trips to drivers and providing necessary documentation (CMR, loading lists, instructions).
Simultaneously, you optimize load utilization and cost-efficiency of each trip using online transport portals and your customer network. You also handle operational changes—such as sudden vehicle outages, route adjustments, or driver swaps—and maintain client communication (confirming schedules, updating requirements).
Throughout the day, you track vehicle movements and update trip statuses in the system. You process and file documents from completed trips and address any in-transit issues (breakdowns, delays, traffic complications). In the afternoon, you prepare the next day’s trip plans—checking driver and vehicle availability once more.
A family-owned company with 20 years of experience in transport and logistics will always have your back. You can count on a professional approach, support, and an excellent team. We regularly introduce new technologies, provide new vehicles, and supply drivers with the necessary equipment. With us, you can grow from a van driver (category B), to SOLO truck driver (category C), all the way to trailer and FTL truck driver (category CE).
Thanks to our various projects, we offer opportunities both for drivers nearing retirement and for juniors eager to learn and explore Europe. Our main partners include DHL, RHENUS, and VERTIV.
